That's probably mountain time, I am still out at the field until after 2 pm CDT so looks later for me on the road, thanks for the number. 8/11 CCC has advising requirements for spring, pretty tight scheduling. Takes about 6or7 hours to cross KS, right?

I see, thank you for the gift. Aug 23 at 4pm is the meeting at Mittens Truck Stop at Oakley exit for the Smoky Hill River Historic Byway steering committee meeting, I plan to go there, I live on a farm over 60 miles away and commute to CCC daily, Sunday is the first time I will join the committee but if you are on the road at that time at that stop I would gladly adjust plans, did Keystone respond?

That would be perfect timing for a class field trip, please give me more details, I am using Aurora Crossing by Karl Schlesier as a text in anthro about the Nez Perce right now!

I have the program booklet from the mailroom, that was a great way to connect, I look forward to followups, when we meet I can return it if needed soon. Let me know, I have a meeting in Oakley 4pm Sunday and could drive any whichway to meet up.

There is a great place also to visit south of Colby called the Keystone Gallery where Barb and Chuck explore the Smoky Hill River region, you would be so close it would be an excellent landmark to include.http://www.keystonegallery.com/
I don't know if they are open on Sundays though.

The Museum is open on Sundays http://www.prairiemuseum.org/

Let me know if you and/or Dan are ever at the Prairie Museum in Colby and we can have a great, fantastic round table discussion and collaboration with the director and our local buffs.
