Weekly Sat-AM MnFuturists SIG-sessions empower this vital role!

During Fall-1965, General Mills recruited me from the KU Business School.
I got re-purposed as a “Professional Question-Asker with a mandated “near peer” Xerox Effective Listening competency certification!

Upon returning from my extended USNR-education leave of Absence I joined a Golden Valley (MN) Toastmasters’ Club to help refresh my “critical thinking” skills as “Generous Mills” prototype EDP Auditor (1972). While at Pentagon Park (General Mills Chemicals, Inc.), I guided and influenced the Information Integrity Assurance (IIA) framework adapted from FOCCPAC-Kunia WWMCCS specifications.

From 1971-79, my combined USNR-A (active duty) experiences got re-cycled via USNR-R (ready reserve) special projects with WWMCCS “Naval Reserve Systems Analysis Divisions” (NRSAND) supporting major mid-Pacific commands. Among the naval innovators I met was VADM David C. Richardson who served as CO, USS Cimarron to get his “deep draft” qualifications as an “Admiral Striker” …

From 1975-95, I refined my community steward-leadership role via “lifelong learning” programs with the Association for Systems Management International (ASM Twin Cities Chapter) before it became part of the Minnesota Information Professionals Society.

From 1985-present, I blended “just-in-time team tutoring” with “virtual team tactics” to empower INFO-structure protection practices.

Embedded within this operational continuity assurance model were “Presponse Systems Thinking” practices that Futurist Joel Barker adapted as a computer-mediated “IMPACT-Implications Wheel” protocol. At Honeywell Corporate Information Management (CIM), we re-cycled General Mills/ConAgra “lessons learned” to launch a global Information Security Awareness Program (ISAP).

We shared CIM’s Reputation Risk Management (RRM) protocols with the Honeywell Large Systems Users Association (HLSUA). That cadre included a former Univac Systems Engineer (Dave Nordlund) with the University of Kansas (aka) Kan-Ed Network Architect.

During 2002-05, a cadre of MnIPS-mentors co-created a sub-rosa “Institute for Future Thought Leadership” (i4FTL) anchored by ACCTTS-LLC (Leadership Learning Collaboratory) with a “listening post” within the Minnesota High-Tech Association (MHTA) …

Our intent was empowering Earl C. Joseph, Sr’s “Dollars for Scholars Chapter” as a social responsibility pathfinder’s incubator. At Malia’s (PuppetMochi) suggestion, I adapted this ALL-WinWin model as a MentorshipART of Peace (mapXchange) while engaged in the Kansas Environmental Leadership Program (KELP) with Class 6-2005.

Kubik’s model replicates Ernest Thompson Seton’s (Grey Wolf) role as first Chief Scout (1910)

Circa-1994: He who gets wisdom loves his own soul; he who cherishes understanding prospers.

As a 1982 Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), I began attempting to distill actionable insights (thinkLets) using IBM-PS2 visual learning tools. But, I wanted software that empowered usability between Apple and Windows platforms, so I became an Inspiration Software Beta-Tester.

This self-guided life-long learning initiative coincided with completing my University of Saint Thomas Graduate Programs In Software Mini-MBA in Software Design & Development (MSDD).

Thirty years after getting a KU B-School B.S. degree, my "near peer small group" weekly dialogs motivated this "Fast-Fail" experimentation with mid-mapping software. Its purpose was to distill actionable insights (thinkLets) from this biblical verse.

I wanted to compare & contrast hardware & software mindsets (systems engineering) with peopleware human factors (social engineering). In retrospect, this was a DIKW "social network analysis" precursor that empowered my pioneering CyberCrime Fighting "team tutoring" effectiveness.

Actionable distilled insights (thinkLets) from having done post-implementation reviews (autopsies) of many successful and failed groupware projects during first half of my third 21-year career (1985-2006).

I was a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and "near peer mentor" as Upper Midwest (Region-16) Director with the Association for Systems Management (ASM) International that hatched a GlobalBrain "virtual team tactics" leadership learning collaboratory strategy during 1995 ...
